On Saturday July 20th, team members Jamie-Leigh and Matty set out to scale the Yorkshire Three Peaks in aid of Middlesbrough and Teesside Philanthropic Foundation.

As a Patron of the Foundation, it’s important for us to support them whenever we can, and this seemed like the perfect challenge!

The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge challenges walkers to take on the peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough in 12 hours or less. These peaks form part of the Pennine range and encircle the head of the valley of the River Ribble, in the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

The pair started their day at 6:45am and although the rain and fog persisted throughout the day, they had a brilliant time!

We are pleased to say that not only did Jamie-Leigh and Matty complete the challenge but managed a time of just under 10 hours!
